Mrs. Lopez graduated from Texas Tech University, cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. With her Doctorate of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University School of Law, she began practicing law in 1999. Mrs. Lopez is a former felony Dallas County prosecutor who served in the child abuse and family violence divisions. Lopez joined Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP as an associate attorney in 2004; she served as the administrative attorney over the Litigation Division for seven years and gained significant experience in client relations, management and marketing. She was later appointed as Managing Partner of the Dallas Office and is the firm’s management committee partner over the New York City and Boston offices. She also sits on the firm’s Management Committee, which oversees the entire firm’s operations and chairs the Public Affairs Committee. Mrs. Lopez has spoken and written extensively in the areas of tax litigation and litigation management at various symposiums across the state on behalf of the law firm. In 2005, she was named a Texas Monthly Magazine “Texas Rising Star,” for her outstanding contributions to the legal profession. Most recently, Lopez was named one of Dallas’ Best Lawyers by D Magazine.
